Plenary session of COP21 for the adoption of the Paris Agreement, United Nations Conference on Climate Change (Paris, Le Bourget). The pact sets the goal of reducing global greenhouse gas emissions to prevent global temperature from rising above 2 degrees Celsius, ideally not exceeding 1.5 degrees this century.
